Aug.- Oct. 2005

The Lord has blessed greatly in the past few months.  We have seen several saved in the meetings that we have been in, and our support is continually increasing.  In October, our support level increased to almost fifty percent.  It is very exciting to see the Lord burden churches and individuals to support missions!  With every percent that comes in, our anticipation for returning to the field grows stronger.  Last month I talked with Jason Hamby, who is in St. Lucia.  He is praying for our quick return because of the great need to have more churches toward the north part of the Island.

October has been a very busy month.  We traveled over three thousand miles just for meetings alone.  We have been to north and south Mississippi; Panama City, Florida; Miami, Florida; and Stockbridge, Georgia.

We started back to school with the children in September.  We are trying to change curriculums with our older two so that I can help them.  Monica is schooling Hope and Ethan with the A-Beka program, which gives a very good foundation in phonics.

As many of you know, Monica had a miscarriage last April.  To the glory of  God she is expecting again and is due in April of next year!  All has been well, and the baby seems to be doing fine.

Several months ago, our family made a singing CD.  Many have expressed how they enjoy listening to the children sing.  I recently finished a hymn CD.  It is all accapella and in four part harmony.  If anyone else would like to have one, please contact me at the number below.

I would also like to say thank you to the churches who have given sacrificially to keep us (and all missionaries) on the road the last few weeks and months.  The increase in gas prices seems to have put many people in a pinch for extra cash.  It has been such a wonderful blessing to see the Lord provide for our needs while traveling!  Our traveling in deputation has continued without any extra burden because of your obedience to Christ and your willingness to sacrifice to the needs of others.  We pray that God will always bless you greatly!
